Add to My Favorites Frederick Hubicki: Hubicki Fine Art
I paint the land, the sea and the people on it, trying to capture the essence of it all. Most are painted plein air. Sometimes I will make minor touch ups in the studio or create a larger version but for the most part the plein air paintings are best left alone. They have a vitality that is very easy to destroy.

The Look and Feel of the Rockies
Visual expressions by HUBICKI

Visually, I think we can all agree that the mountains are spectacular with their
variety of terrain: their foothills, lakes, streams, rivers and peaks and the changing seasons and light that reveals even more of their beauty and depth.

But there is also the personal, emotional side, of their mystique; what does it feel like at 10,000 feet, at 12,000, at 14,000 after hiking and climbing three or four hours and breathing thin air? I have painted my feelings  at different altitudes in the abstracts
presented here. I hope you share and feel my sense of the Rocky Mountains.

These paintings are one of a kind, originals; there are no copies, or prints, nor will there be. Once they are gone, they are gone. So if one speaks to you … have it shipped to your home or office and continue the conversation..

Enjoy, and thank you for viewing my work.
